Coach Amy Pitzel, the cross country coach at Taylor High School in Katy was chosen in the top ten most inspiring coaches by Brooks. There were nomination from all over the nation. The top Ten were flown to Washington and they announces that Coach Pitzel was the winner. Each of the top ten got $5000 in Brooks appareal and $500 in travel expense money along with the all expense paid trip to Washington. As the winner Coach Pitzel got an additional $5000 in Brooks Appareal and an additional $2000 in expense money. She will also get a trip for two to the Brooks PR invitational were the best High School runners are invited to compete. Some of the kids and parents greeted her at the Airport when she came home. Thank you for your consideration I think she should get all the recognition she deserves, she is a great coach to these kids.
